AUGUST 26 - SEPTEMBER 1 SOUTHEAST Trip

Arrive and check into our hotel in Durham. We'll have a casual get-together drink in the area for those who want to join that evening.

After breakfast and some time to relax at the hotel in the morning, we get started busing to our First Pitch Lunch at Brewery Bhavana in Raleigh. You'll enjoy a real culinary and beer feast pairing Asian-inspired food with classic European beer styles. From there, we head to Crank Arm to taste before we roll back to Durham. We'll taste at Atomic Clock before a short ride to the Durham Bulls Athletic Park to catch the Worcester Red Sox (Boston affiliate) play the host Bulls (Tampa Bay Rays affiliate). We'll enjoy a great Carolina dinner at the game. Post-game, we'll walk back to the hotel, with an optional stop for a pint on the way.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel on your own timeline before we get a great start to the day at local favorite Ponysaurus. Then, we''ll bus out to Greensboro and once you've gotten settled in the hotel, we'll take the short walk to Joymongers, who've built a great reputation for quality small-production runs. From there, it's just a quick stroll to the Greensboro Grasshoppers (Pittsburgh Pirates affiliate) who take on their High-A South Atlantic League opponents, Wilmington Blue Rocks (Washington Nationals). 

You'll eat breakfast before we head west to one of the nation's top beer cities, Asheville. As you know, the city and it's region were hit hard by Hurricane Helene last fall, but the city is already on the comeback. We're still working with brewery partners in the area to make sure they're ready for our visit, but we'll have lunch and at least two tastings in town before the Asheville Tourists (Houston Astros) host one of the newest minor league teams, the Hub City Spartanburgers (Texas Rangers) at one of the sport's oldest venues, McCormick Field. Included in the tour pricing is a post-game nightcap. 

Enjoy a big breakfast before getting some time to explore Ashville on your own before a paired tasting lunch to cap our time in Asheville. Then, we'll make the short drive to Greenville, with a special surprise stop on the way. You'll get a little time at the hotel before we enjoy a tasting at Liability Brewing  and then catch another match-up of Rays and Red Sox prospects as the High-A Bowling Green Hot Rods face off with the Greenville Drive. 

We cap off our week by heading to Charlotte, which is now home to more than 75 breweries. We'll start with beer and brunch at Wooden Robot before tastings at two of the Queen City's original stars, NoDa Brewing and Resident Culture. We'll get settled in our hotel before a ride out to our final game, an evening contest between the Single-A Salem Red Sox and the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers (Chicago White Sox), where we'll take in the game and have dinner. 

Get up, check out, and head home at your leisure on the holiday Monday.
